AFFILIATE PROGRAM - FAQ

How does it work:

It's so simple anyone can participate regardless of HTML savvy or experience. Just fill out one form and then add a few lines of html to your site pages and your set... When a visitor to your site clicks on either a text or banner link to our site we'll track the visitors purchases and credit your account.

Cookies:

Cookies are used to track the visitors from your site to ours. This means the visitor from your site must have cookies enabled (most do). The cookie is stored on the visitors computer for a minimum of one year... so every subsequent visit to our site will also be credited to your account (even if they do not make a purchase on the first visit).

What is for sale:

Everything on the littlesistersbookstore.com site is available for sale and credit to your account. The URL that points to our site tracks the visitors final sale and calculates your credit from the final sale only. (no credit is given for donations to the Little Sister's Defense Fund, or taxes added to the sale)

How do I get paid:

Affiliates are paid once per month (by cheque only) on amounts of $50.00 (Canadian) or more. Amounts of less that $50.00 are forwarded to the next monthly period so your balance continues to grow till you reach a minimum of $50.00.

Little Sister's Book & Art Emporium will pay you 7.5% on all purchases made by customers refereed from your site.

If your site has refereed other sites (two-tier commissions) we will pay you 10% of the commission paid to the second tier site.

Little Sister's reserve the right to verify all sales. Charge backs will be deducted from an affiliate account balance. Commission is based on the "sub total" of the customers receipt as generated by the site server. Defense Fund donations will not be included in a sale "sub total".

In the case of "out of stock" products or a customer changing their mind on an item within an order, the affiliate will be paid a commission based on the actual "sub total" of the final sale. Commissions will be paid ONLY on credit card transactions completed by the user on the web site.

All commissions are paid in Canadian dollars.

How do I know sales are being tracked correctly:

Little Sister's uses the services of a third party Affiliate program provider to guarantee our affiliate members are tracked for each and every sale. MyReferer is an industry leader with an impeccable reputation.

Can I cancel my participation:

Yes, you can cancel your participation at any time just by letting us know you are no longer interested. However, we pay out only on amounts of $50.00 or more, regardless of how long you have participated.

Can I have more than one link to the site:

Yes, you can use as many text based or banner links as you like. You can also provide your visitors with links to our books section only, our adult section only, or to books, pride items and adult areas all at the same time. Any link to any area will track your visitors purchased no matter where they go on our site, or what they purchase.

What is a 2 tier system:

If you send us another webmaster (site) who also becomes an affiliate, you will be credited a percentage of all sales generated by the other webmaster (site).
(You CAN NOT register a site you own as a second tier site. Doing such will constitute fraud and your accounts will be permanently deleted. You will also forfeit all associated credits.)

Once a visitor from your site visits Little Sister's site (and makes a purchase) you will be credited for the initial sale and any subsequent sale that visitor makes in the future. There is not time limit placed on subsequent sales. In other words - you will be credited for all purchases made by this person forever.
